BFMP provides power plant EPC turnkey solutions for mining companies
BFMP can provide mining enterprises with turnkey EPC solutions for power plants, covering the entire process from project planning, equipment integration, construction to commissioning and delivery, helping mines quickly obtain stable, efficient, and low-emission power supply.

Flexible fuel and engine options
Heavy oil power plants: 2 MW–30 MW, using MAN 9L21/31, 8L27/38 and other medium-speed gensets, suitable for high-power, long-term self-supplied power.
Gas-fired power plants:500KW to 10MW, with options for natural gas, coalbed methane, and industrial waste gas, meeting green and low-carbon requirements.
Diesel/dual-fuel units: 500 kW–15 MW, used for peak shaving or black start backup.
Core equipment and system integration
We provide complete sets of equipment including parallel operation, high and low voltage power distribution, automated control, waste heat recovery, and SCR denitrification, achieving a comprehensive energy utilization efficiency of over 80%.
We have long-term partnerships with more than 50 well-known Chinese and international engine brands to ensure the high reliability of both main and auxiliary engines.
EPC Implementation Process
① Design Phase: Based on the mine's load characteristics, fuel resources, and environmental standards, complete the conceptual design, 3D modeling, and feasibility study report.
② Procurement Phase: Global price comparison + factory inspection + third-party witnessing; reserve inventory for key components to shorten delivery time.
③ Construction Phase: Establish an in-house installation team, implement a project manager responsibility system.
④ Commissioning and Handover: After completing 72 hours of continuous load testing, performance evaluation, and environmental testing, the entire system is handed over, and operation and maintenance training is provided.
Typical Case
8 MW Heavy Oil Self-Supplied Power Plant: Provides four MAN 9L21/31 units for a large iron ore mine, operating for over 7,000 hours annually.
24 MW Overseas Cement Plant Power Plant: Six MAN 18V28/32 diesel engines, now operating stably for 5 years with an availability rate >96%.
18 MW Low-Emission Gas-Fired Power Plant: Employs an internal combustion engine + SCR combination, achieving NOx emissions <50 mg/Nm3, meeting the stringent environmental requirements of Southeast Asian mining areas.
Extended services
Full lifecycle maintenance: Spare parts inventory, remote diagnostics, and annual overhauls can extend unit life by more than 10 years.
Upgrades and retrofits: Replacement of control systems for aging units, expansion of waste heat utilization, and conversion from oil to gas help mines continuously reduce costs and increase efficiency.
With over 30 years of experience in power and marine propulsion, BFMP can tailor-make power plant EPC solutions for various open-pit mines, underground mines, and smelting industrial parks, achieving the comprehensive goals of "fast construction, economical commissioning, stable operation, and low emissions."
